Official Reports on the Monitoring of the Testing of Milk for Payment Purposes
The social partnership agreement, Towards 2016, includes the following provision in the Chapter dealing with Agriculture:
In line with the changes in the economic value of the various constituents of milk, including milk protein, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food will extend its monitoring and cross checking of the milk testing regime to include all constituents used for payment purposes and, in consultation with the partners, shall ensure transparency in the milk analysis regime.
In order to achieve this objective, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has extended the range and scope of its monitoring regime and made arrangements to publish its findings.
An index to the establishments covered by the regime and the results of the Departments checks at the various milk testing centres and milk processing establishments are set out in the pages hereunder.
